The symposium of Conservation for Underwater Archaeology (ISCUA) is organised by the Balearic Institute of Studies in Maritime Archaeology (IBEAM) in collaboration with the Council of Formentera and has tri-annual nature.
ISCUA serves as a platform to disseminate leading research in the preservation of our maritime cultural heritage and aims to continue with the training of the youngest generations in the field, as well as to create future links between the different institutions and invited specialists.
The Balearic Institute of Maritime Archaeology Studies (IBEAM) is a nonprofit organisation formed by professionals of underwater archeology that aims to protect the Maritime Cultural Heritage of the Balearic Islands (Spain), through research, conservation and dissemination projects.
